Dog training does not have to be an excruciating painful task, it can actually be quite enjoyable, if it is done appropriately. It is always very important for a dog owner to understand that dog training is not going to happen overnight, it will in fact take a little bit of time, which means patience is an absolute must.

With the right amount of knowledge and a really good attitude, your dog could eventually be the best and most trained dog around in your area, which could really give you something to brag about right. Everyone that owns a dog really does want their dog to be well behaved and for their dog to listen to their commands, but nobody seems to want to put in any amount of work in order to really make this happen. It is so funny, it seems that most people just expect that their dog will just automatically listen to their commands, maybe if they scream it at them or whip their behinds.

It is so important to realize that it just does not really work this way people. In order to have a well trained dog that does listen to your commands, you will absolutely have to gather up some correct information on different dog training tips that can help you throughout this process, or else it probably will not happen for you.

Instead of looking at this as a dreaded task, look at it as an opportunity for you and your dog to become closer and while this is happening both of you will begin trusting one another much more and a special bond will begin being created as well. Dog training will be a time when you and your dog will be spending a great deal of time with one another, which is always a great thing. One reason for so many different kinds of dog behavior problems is because they are lonely, nobody to play with, not getting enough attention, which is why spending time with your dog is so very important.

Let your dog know how very proud of him you are anytime that he does something worth rewarding, even if it is just something small really. The more you praise them, the more likely they will be to continue their good behavior for you. Have fun with your pooch, try throwing a ball for him and letting him go and get it and bring it back to you. Each time that he brings it back to you and lets you have it, really brag on him. This quickly turns into a new little game for you to play with one another and is really a fun way for you and your dog to pass some time.

You could be using dog training techniques on your dog and not even realize it, that is always a great thing right. You and your dog will be much happier in the end thanks to you giving him the attention that he requires and applying dog training techniques on him every single chance that you do get with him.

Beijing air got tested the good old fashioned way—by the marathon runners. Of all the athletes, everyone agreed that they were the ones most likely to keel over dead from exposure to Carbon Monoxide and small particle pollutants. Marathon runners breathe more times than the normal person, plus they need a ton more oxygen in their cells to keep those legs a-pumping.

Speaking of pollution, the Chinese lucked out. Happy to say, those three number 8’s (8/8/08) conjured up a few clear rays on the Beijing Olympics just like they were supposed to. A midnight storm washed the dirt out of Sunday’s morning air, just in time for the Men’s Marathon. The fact is, Beijing air was clean enough for an Olympic record: Sammy Wansiru of Kenya finished in two hours 6.32 minutes.

Rumors have it that the world record holder Haile Gebrselassie wished he could have been there. The Ethiopian legend withdrew in March because he feared that his lungs might suffer permanent damage and at the time this cast quite a pallor on the competition.

Mengzhi (China Daily Online) was one of the many who commented on Gebrselassie’s decision to boycott their Olympics: China is a free country . Anyone chooses NOT to come or run is going to miss out . China regrets such silly scams but cannot do anything about it . We respect all points of views and stands. Less world beaters , more medals for China . Who is missing out then ?

Not the Chinese divers, they’re going 8 for 8 in the gold medal department: He, Guo, Chen, Wang, Wang, Wu, Xin and Lin. (Yes there are two Wangs.) And I’ll lay odds these Chinese boys and girls are all believers in the power of Ba (8).

I’ll also bet they didn’t have to be pushed off the 10 meter diving platform, either, like little Tom Daley did. Tom, Tom, Mr. Daley’s son is that darling, fourteen-year-old Olympic diver from Great Britain, you know the one that all the little girls are swooning over. “… there will be no serious girlfriends until after the Games,” he says.

Back to pushing little kids off high places: Sad to say, I did use that word, but it’s not mine. According to our informative Olympic host, Bob Costas, most of the divers, including Tom Daley, had to be pushed off that high thirty+foot platform the first 8 or 10 times. And, oh yea, did I mention that they were in tears. Bob Costas went on to say that this practice is not uncommon, but Thomas Finchum, the American diver, didn’t have to be pushed.

Gee, it’s nice to know there are adults all over the world who will push scared little kids off a three-story platform. You just have to be pretty optimistic about their chances, I guess.

Speaking of pessimists, some experts way back when were saying that folks who competed outdoors in the Olympics were gonna die. They obviously didn’t believe in the power of Ba. But I’ll tell you who really believes…Michael Phelps. At this point, folks, he more than believes and so do we. Happy to say, this phenom (soon to be on cereal boxes) walked away with eight golds. Phelps is a god, though. We need help.

So I’ve hatched a plan for the rest of us mortals to attain the luck of the three 8’s. I advise all to return to talesofsendingcards on the eighth day of every month for the remainder of 2008 and click three times to auspicious prosperity while repeating Ba Ba Ba.

    Happy 8’s,

    Laura signing off.

While teaching my nephew how to prepare for his own internet business, I continued to learn more every day. If he really wants to learn how to start an internet business. from the bottom up, the right attitude is essential. Avoiding the mistakes that others have made is one clear benefit of learning from other people first. The key is to locate someone you can trust and give it your best focus.

The truth is there is an overabundance of ways to make money online that are actually legitimate businesses. Affiliate marketing and writing kept coming up in the discussions so the business models that employed these tactics to their best advantage began to fall into place.

We spent some time looking at a blogging format as a possible venue for his business. Now it was time to compare some of the big name bloggers with blogs written by regular people.

By actively participating in the study of different blogs and their varied rates of success, he began to improve his own work. Coaching with hands-on experience is always preferable to straight book knowledge.

Despite recent falls in the value of real estate, things are not all doom and gloom. The luxury real estate market has proven to be far more robust that any other market, and certain markets remain untouched by the sub prime crisis. Not all property markets are the same.

Many are buying property in Australia as this is also seen as a good long term investment. Australia has yet to feel the international pinch and consistent population growth combined with a strong fiscal policy has meant prices are not suffering in the same way as Spain is, for instance. Spain was over hyped for too long by too mant and this downturn was inevitable.

Real estate investment is almost always the best long term investment strategy. Short term falls in the market will eventually correct themselves, and canny investors will not have placed themselves in a position of having to liquidate assets at a lower price than borrowing. Even in the American real estate markets, which have suffered the most during the sub-prime mortgage fiasco, will rebound. Estimating a time frame for this is almost impossible, and the correction will take several years for certain.

Further afield, the luxury markets as well as the luxury retail sector are as strong as always. There seems no lessening in demand for designer purses and handbags for example. Dior, Fendi, and Louis Vuitton are still strong companies with consistent growths in the past and a strong future. New designer handbag companies face a difficult challenge when entering this market though. The existing designers will not easily let go of the strangle hold they have.

When you mention a particular product and speak about the top of the line, one specific brand within that product line usually comes to mind. For example, if you talk about top of the line in the car industry, one may think or mention the brand of Cadillac, Lexus, Porsche, Mercedes Benz, etc.

In addition, if you were to talk about music you might think of a Steinway, Baldwin, Stradivarius, etc. Specifically, if you were to talk about the top of the line in the guitar world, one of the names that probably would be mentioned would be Gibson Guitars.

    The History Of Gibson Guitars

The founder of the Gibson Guitar company was Orville Gibson. However, the first manufactured stringed instruments by Orville Gibson weren’t guitars but mandolins. Eventually, though, the production of mandolins gave way to the production of guitars and the Gibson Mandolin Guitar Manufacturing Company was born in 1902. Soon, the production of guitars became the mainstay and Gibson introduced numerous innovative guitar designs.

Eventually, the electric guitar came on the scene. In fact, the Gibson Guitar Company released the first Electric Spanish model. The claim to fame of this model is that it is being credited as the first electric guitar successfully built for commercial use.

Another successful line of Gibson Guitars was the Gibson Les Paul. This particular model of Gibson Guitar was released in 1954. Other guitarists who have helped to popularize the Gibson Guitar have been Eric Clapton, Keith Richards and Pete Green.

    The Categorizing Of Gibson Guitars

In 1970, Gibson Guitars decided upon a tactic to help protect their name and the guitars that were manufactured. That solution was to stamp an eight digit serial number on their product.

Specifically, the eight digit number is stamped on the underside of the headstock of the guitar. In addition, the serial number is significant. That significance is that the number corresponds to the date that the instrument was manufactured, the location indicating where the guitar was made and the run number. Specifically, the first and fifth number represent the year, the second, third and fourth number represent the day of the year of manufacturing and the sixth number represents the locale of manufacturing. Finally, the last two digits, of the eight digit serial number, represent the run number.

    Types Of Gibson Guitars

In addition to electric guitars, there are other types of Gibson Guitars. Those types include acoustic guitars, bass and bluegrass style guitars.
